German Chancellor Olaf Scholz fell while jogging in a park, suffering several facial injuries.

For this reason, the chancellor canceled all his engagements and the meetings he was going to hold with some citizens. The German leader was scheduled to attend events in the central state of Hessen, which will hold state elections on October 8.

Bild newspaper reported that the chancellor is currently in good health, but the injury to his face is significant. In a post on his party's website, Scholz says he hated sports when he was at school, but now finds time to run, walk two to three times a week and practice cycling.
