Video of a bear standing in front of visitors at a zoo in China has sparked huge debate on social media.

The particular way the bear stood, as well as its size, more or less similar to those of a human, fueled suspicions that the bear could be a kindergarten employee underneath a suit.

"When it comes to bears, the first thing that comes to mind is a great figure and amazing power ... But not all bears are beasts and dangerous. The Malayan bears are small, the youngest in the world," the zoo said in a statement.

Another zoo employee said that if the bear was actually a man disguised as a bear, it would not have lasted more than five minutes under the suit at a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius and would have collapsed to the ground.
