Russian President Vladimir Putin exploded this Thursday with strong statements as he declared that the dominance of the West is over, while he called for a new world order.
The Kremlin leader accused the West of fueling conflict in Ukraine and Taiwan, creating a global energy crisis and causing a world hunger crisis.
He didn't stop there. Further, Putin warned that the world has entered its most dangerous period since the Second World War and a new world order must be created, in which, according to him, Russia must have the leading place.
“The West is no longer able to dictate its will to humanity, but it still tries to do so, and most nations no longer want to tolerate it. In this game, the West aims to dominate the world, but this is a dangerous, deadly and dirty game ," Putin said.
He emphasized that the West wants to exterminate Russia. A challenge for survival, even as the Kremlin chief sought to dispel any fears of a nuclear war. "We don't need to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it wouldn't make sense, neither politically nor militarily," Putin said.
Meanwhile, Russia tested its readiness for a nuclear strike on Wednesday during annual drills involving nuclear submarines, strategic bombers and ballistic missiles, as President Vladimir Putin watched the maneuvers via video link.
