The Basic Court of Ferizaj has upheld the sentence of life imprisonment for Dardan Krivaqa, who killed his partner Marigona Osmani.

As for his friend, Arbër Sejdiu, the sentence of 15 years in prison was upheld. 18-year-old Marigona Osmani was killed by her partner Dardan Krivaqa, in the apartment where they lived together in the city of Ferizaj, on August 22, 2021, after torturing her.

According to the indictment, Dardan Krivaqa is suspected on August 21, 2021 at around 10:14, in his apartment, without the consent of the now deceased Marigona Osmani, of forcing her to have sexual intercourse and abusing her in various ways.

His friend Arbër Sejdiu was also a collaborator in the event.

Marigona Osmani was raped and tortured before she was killed 

According to the Prosecutor's Office file provided by Nacionale.com, the victim was sexually abused by the suspected perpetrator of the serious crime, as well as cruelly beaten by Dardan Krivaça and his friend Arbër Sejdiu.

The Basic Prosecutor's Office of Ferizaj has provided film evidence showing the torture of Marigona Osmani who was raped to death by the two suspects, who abandoned her dead body in the emergency room of the hospital.

It is learned that Dardan Krivaça had installed cameras in the apartment that monitored every movement of the victim.

"In the corridor of the defendant's apartment there was a camera that recorded 24 hours. Recording at the correct time, the camera had a view of the entrance door of the apartment and the bathroom, the same also has a view of a part of the door of a bedroom, as well as another room, which it captures only in a corner. The latter is also the room where the criminal offenses were committed. In the indictment it is also stated that the Police received the DVR, which was sent for examination, where the images were taken for the time period of seventy-two hours and that from 19.08.2021 at 00:05 to 23.08.2021 at 00: 18" , it is stated in the prosecution file.

We consider the video reliable and accurate, the video recordings show that at the beginning, specifically,  on 19.08.2021,  the relations between the defendant, Dardan Krivaça, and the deceased were good. These reports begin to deteriorate when the defendant Arbër Sejdiu appears there, who arrives at 16:18, together with Dardani, who has a bag of clothes with him.

At 7:02 p.m., the defendants talk about the cameras and see which parts of the corridor are captured by the camera, where they move to different parts to verify which parts of the corridor are captured by the camera, and it is noticed that the role or the main word for this there is Arbër Sejdiu, together with Dardani.

According to the indictment,  on 21.08.2021 , at 02:40, Dardan Krivaça, after midnight while he was in the bathroom with the late Marigona Osmani, hit her in the face with his hand.

Based on the images taken by the cameras, it can be seen that Marigona, already feeling the effects of these blows, does not have full control, she is losing her mind.

At 10:02,  the defendant sends the deceased Marigona Osmani to the bathroom, he comes out at 10:14, where it is observed that she resists, but is grabbed by the hands and pushed towards the salon.

10:48,  he forcibly sends her to the bathroom, where the deceased is naked, while the defendant is dressed, where they stay until 11:09. When they leave, the defendant is undressed and violently takes the deceased out of the bathroom and sends her to the bedroom.

13:43 , the defendant, who is undressed, puts a hat on the camera, which covers the view until 19:57, when the defendant contacts a long time by phone, where after this contact, the same day, initially at 22:00 leaves the apartment and at 22:13, returns with the defendant, Arbër Sejdiu, who have food items with them.

Arbëri takes the stick and takes it out of the room and sends it to the living room.  14:43,  from the behavior of the defendants it appears that it is also the time of the deceased's death,

14:47 , the defendants take the deceased and send her to the General Hospital Emergency Center in Ferizaj, where the defendant Dardan Krivaça carries the same and together with him is also the defendant Arbër Sejdiu, who they release at the entrance of Emergency and leave there.

What caused the death of the 18-year-old

According to the indictment, Marigona's death came as a result of violence against her and multiple injuries as a result of external and internal bleeding.

It follows from the autopsy report that the deceased had fresh injuries around the left and right eye, along the hand and chin, chest, armpit, abdomen, left and right thigh, left and right arm, left forearm and right. While there was damage and skin scratches on the left side of the face, on the left and right side of the neck.

Along both cheeks and lower jaw… Fractures of ribs and spine. There were fractures of the first and second cervical rings between them and partial rupture of the neck pair in that region.
