The Ministry of Economy in Kosovo announces that thanks to an agreement reached between the Energy Corporation of Kosovo and the Electricity Corporation of Albania, Kosovo has secured the necessary energy and there will be no interruption of it, as was announced earlier.

The Ministry announces that at the moment, efforts continue to ensure electricity for the most difficult days during the fall.

Due to the world situation with energy, the Ministry asks the citizens of Kosovo to save it.

"Starting from the world situation with the energy crisis that has also affected the region, all the responsible institutions are working intensively and in coordination for the security of electricity supply.

Thanks to this work and the cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, namely the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) and the Albanian Electricity Corporation (KESH), it was possible to avoid reductions from 14:00 and to continue the regular supply of electricity.

Institutions will continue to make maximum efforts to maintain regular electricity supply during the coming days.

However, considering the situation, all citizens and businesses are requested to take saving measures and be as careful as possible in the use of electricity.

The cooperation with Albania will be followed by other measures to address the energy crisis and the state of emergency we are in," the announcement reads.
