The US will send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine

The United States will send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. The decision was announced by senior National Security Council officials, who said the move is a continuation of Washington's efforts to provide Ukraine with the tools it needs to better defend itself.

Yes, according to American officials, the decision is also an indicator of strong unity within the international community, in support of Ukraine, and proof of President Biden's leadership role.

American Ambrams tanks are very complex and their use and maintenance requires considerable training time.

US officials said these military tools are the best in the world, and sending them to Ukraine would allow the country to be equipped with a new and extraordinary capability to increase its long-term defense.

U.S. officials said it will be some time before Kiev gets the tanks, but in the meantime the United States will begin working to create a comprehensive training program for Ukraine.
