Over 150,000 euros for pro-government propaganda, Facebook closes Vucic's

The social networking company "Meta", which includes Facebook and Instagram, reports that it has closed dozens of fake profiles of the Serbian Progressive Party, which were used for propaganda.

According to the report for the last quarter of 2022, META informs that it has closed 5374 profiles and 12 Facebook groups as well as 100 Instagram accounts of SNS.

Referring to Meta's statements, SNS has spent over 150,000 euros on pro-government propaganda on these two social networks.

These accounts operated independently of each other and their content reached hundreds of thousands of people before they were suspended.
