Tragedy in Calabria/ Overturned ship with immigrants, over 40 dead, 3 children

27 migrants were found drowned this morning in Italy. RaiNews writes that dead bodies were found after the flooding of a ship overloaded with immigrants.

The "turbulent" sea with big waves caused the capsize of the ship, which was carrying a large number of immigrants. A higher number of victims is suspected while the work to find the bodies continues.

The Captaincy of the Port and the Guardia di Finanza have intervened on the spot for the rescue, where the state police and carabinieri are also present together with the personnel of 118 and the Red Cross.
