The United States of America is ready to send information about possible Chinese weapons to Moscow.
US President Joe Biden says he warned his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping about the dangers China would face if it decided to ally with Russia.
"I had a long conversation with him in the summer. I told him that there was not a threat, but a simple fact, the 600 companies that left Russia... He must be careful, the future of China depends on Western investments," Biden told White House reporters. .
The United States will "retaliate" if China supplies Russia with lethal weapons in the war against Ukraine.
Joe Biden said in an interview that he does not anticipate such a move from China, but they are still ready to answer anything.
"We haven't seen it yet, but I don't foresee a big move by China to supply arms to Russia," he said. Biden then referred to the sanctions that other countries have received after supporting Moscow. "We have imposed severe penalties on anyone who did this," he stressed.
