Today marks 1 year since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. It was the evening of February 23-24, 2022 when the Russian invasion began. During these 365 bloody days, things have changed a lot but the Ukrainians have not given up.
Volodymyr Zelensky also had a message for the first anniversary of the war, saying with conviction that this will be the year of victory.
"On February 24, millions of us made a choice. Not the white flag, but the yellow and blue one. Not running away, but facing. Resisting and fighting. It's been a year of pain, sadness, faith and unity.
We know that 2023 will be the year of our victory," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Twitter, publishing a video of the conflict a year after it began.
China is calling for a ceasefire and an end to fighting in Ukraine, demanding that nuclear power plants be kept safe and threats of nuclear attacks end. Likewise, in the document for the solution of the Ukrainian crisis, structured in 12 points by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, it is suggested "to refrain from attacks on civilians and civilian structures".
