Lydia, the daughter of the late Caroline Crouch and convicted murderer Babis Anagnostopoulos, is said to be in the Philippines as of Sunday night, specifically in Manila.
According to The Newspaper, Caroline Crouchs parents made the decision to leave Greece, wanting their two-year-old granddaughter to grow up in a safe environment, away from anything that reminds her of her mother's murder.
Susan and David Crouch's top priority is little Lydia, and they want her to grow up with Caroline's half-sister Donna's family in the Philippines.
Also, Caroline's parents are thinking of changing the child's last name, while David Crouch has stated that he will do everything possible to prevent Babis Anagnostopoulos from seeing little Lydia again.
The pilot's court-ordered parents can see Lydia for the last five days of each month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is expected that a request will be made in court to make the communication via Skype.
Anagnostopoulos is serving a life sentence for strangling 20-year-old Caroline in front of her 11-month-old daughter in May last year.
Caroline was tortured and suffocated with a pillow in their Athens home as Anagnostopoulos tried to sell it as a robbery and even hanged the couple's dog Roxy in an attempt to cover his tracks.
The 34-year-old claimed that an Albanian gang had been responsible for Caroline's death, but the fingerprints betrayed him and he eventually had to admit the murder.
Anagnostopoulos' lawyer told The Sun that his client had been attacked in a notorious Athens prison.
In one incident, which was prevented by prison guards, Papaioannidis said an inmate told him he had been looking for him and planned to kill him.
