Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti says that he was the only one who proposed today during the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic a detailed plan for the implementation of the agreement with Serbia.

Kurti said that Vučič did not give any proposal and therefore the meeting ended without a result, as he added that there could not be a compromise, since according to him, there can be no compromise between the proposal with the sequence and the old conditionality, the Association.

"When I asked to see the proposal that Serbia gave, because it told me that it has one, the mediators were not in a position to bring it and only after the end of the meeting, they gave me a two-page document in English and Cyrillic that represents an old document at least 6 months, which means that it cannot be a sequenced roadmap of the Serbian side, but it was a document of the conditioning of Serbia that once the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian Majority must be implemented and eventually we can then move on to the basic agreement". Kurt said.

Further, Kurti added that he had to tell Borrell and Lajcak that they are not in April 2013 when Ashton, Kupper, Thaçi and Dacic were in the room.

"Article 10 of the basic agreement states that all agreements must be implemented, which are mandatory and valid and there are 39 of them. But one cannot choose just one and put it like the cart before the horse. So, I have not accepted such a condition.

It is a pity that Lajcak has accepted such a condition from Serbia, and he has done so in violation of his function as a facilitator, but I could not accept such a thing in violation of Kosovo.

So, even this other document, which is older than 6 months, which represents the conditionality document of Serbia, which the AKS once saw, we were not aware that there was such a document. It cannot be called a proposal, but it is a condition", declared Kurti.

He said that it is unfortunate that just when it is constructive, it causes a kind of nervousness in the room and makes dialogue difficult.
