The Chairman of the Central Election Commission in Kosovo, Kreshnik Radoniçi, was the first to vote in Kosovo.

In a statement to the media, he invited all citizens to come out and vote and called for a peaceful and democratic process.

"I invite all citizens with the right to vote to vote for their representatives... I invite all citizens and stakeholders to respect the electoral laws and rules on this election day for a peaceful and democratic electoral process," he said, reports Telegrafi.

Radonic also provided details about voting from the diaspora.

"We now have the data for America and Canada. Somewhere over 15 thousand have voted in diplomatic missions there. Everything is ready. The CEC is on duty and we hope for a festive day," said Radoniç after voting in Peja.
