On the eve of the parliamentary elections in Italy, on Monday, September 25, the candidate for prime minister, the head of the right-wing LEGA, Mateo Salvini, is seeking the support of Albanian immigrants in Italy.

The news was announced by the candidate for deputy in the Italian parliament, the Albanian entrepreneur Anita Likmeta, who is running on the Impegno Civico list of the Democratic Party, which was created by Bruno Tabacci, with the support of the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.

"Insolent Salvini is looking for the Albanians' vote after he has despised them for years. It's unfortunate for him, because we Albanians are proud people, with dignity and excellent memory", writes Anita Likmeta on her public profile on Facebook.

Likmeta refers to Salvini's statement on September 20, 2013, where, in one of his posts, he ironized the support that the senior leaders of the European Union had expressed for the integration of Albania into the EU.

The head of the European Commission, EC, Barroso, has declared that "Albania's future is in Europe"
Very well, we are in order.

I propose; We leave this Europe and this Euro, Albanians, we will get out. what do you say?', Salvini wrote then.

Anita Likmeta, an entrepreneur in the field of innovation, is the first Albanian candidate to compete for the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament in the parliamentary elections that take place on September 25.

Likmeta is among the main candidates, in 3 regions, Lombardy, Marche and Lazio, and 5 colleges with the Impegno Civico list of the Democratic Party, which was created by Bruno Tabacci, with the support of the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.
