The attacks on Kurt? Behgjet Pacolli: It's a conspiracy

The former president of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli, thinks that an assassination attempt against Prime Minister Albin Kurti has not been planned and has described this as a conspiracy.

In an interview for " Euronews Albania ", Pacolli said that the person who has been accused of carrying out the assassination is not one of those who are capable of carrying out such a thing.

"Of course, I received this news with sadness, but last night my heart was strengthened, because I saw the interview of the one who was accused of the assassination, I saw his face, that man is not a man of assassinations.

I personally do not believe that that man will have planned or talked with someone who will commit an assassination. It's a conspiracy. I have been a victim of conspiracies of this type several times. In my opinion, there was no assassination, it is a conspiracy", he emphasized.

In 2021, the Counter-Terrorism Unit in Kosovo has revealed a plan to kill Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The document was published by hackers who have been cyberattacking digital and government systems in Kosovo for several days.

The person who is suspected of carrying out the assassination of Kurti is Prek Kodra, who, according to the data in the report, was said to have good skills in the use of snipers.

The assassination would also be carried out against Ismet Haxha, a former member of the Kosovo Intelligence Service, and Xhav Haliti, a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
