There was a direct denial of a missile attack on Iran by the spokesman for the country's National Cyberspace Center.

Hossein Dalirian wrote on X: "There have been no airstrikes from the outer borders in Isfahan or other parts of the country."

He said Israel had “only made a failed and humiliating attempt to fly a drone. They also fell", reports the BBC.

Iranian state media reported the same, saying air defense systems were activated in several areas of the country overnight to engage potential targets, but there were no reports of any direct hits or explosions.

He adds that all facilities, including nuclear facilities, are safe.
