The Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police, Dejan Jankovic , has been released by the Serbian authorities, after being arrested yesterday.

The news was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, while it is reported that Jankovic is now on his way to Kosovo.

He was detained on April 17 at the Jarinja border crossing, which connects Kosovo with Serbia.

Jankovic was accused by the Serbian authorities of disrupting the constitutional order of Serbia.
