The perpetrator of the threat against Meloni's daughter is identified

A professor from the Campania Region is the author of threats against the daughter of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni with the text "I wish you the end of Martina".

Hate on social networks also against the daughters of Minister Piantedosi. The sentence leaves little room for interpretation: "For someone to use such horrible words against a little girl is something that should make us reflect on the climate of hatred that continues to be nurtured against Giorgia Meloni and her government."

Thus, in "X", Fratelli d'Italia publish the image of a post shared on Instagram by a user who declares that he "works at MIM, the Ministry of Education and Merit", where he wishes "Meloni's daughter the fate of the girl from Afragola, Martina Carbonaro".

The author of the post is said to be Stefano Addeo, born in 1960, a German teacher from the province of Naples. The Minister of Education, Valditara, immediately announced that "useful checks will be undertaken to identify the author of this unworthy act": "The relevant authorities will be able to take exemplary measures: no tolerance for violence", emphasizes Valditara.

"It is not a political clash - emphasizes Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on social networks - it is not even anger. It is something darker, pointing to a sick climate, an ideological hatred, in which everything seems permissible, even the desire for the death of a child to attack a parent. And it is against this violent climate that politics, all of it, must know how to unite. Because there are borders that should never be crossed. And protecting them is a responsibility that goes beyond any political affiliation."

Hate on social networks has also been directed at the daughters of the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi. Commenting on a post by the head of Viminale, who condemned the attack on the prime minister's daughter ("The threats against Giorgia Meloni's daughter are wild and despicable"), a user on "X", with an anonymous nickname, writes: "You see that you also steal our children's money and food. So I confirm the wish, also for yours", mentioning the names of the two daughters of Pianantedos.

The head of the secretariat of Fratelli d'Italia and sister of the prime minister, Arianna Meloni, commented: "How much do we have to endure? How far should we go? In the face of this despised barbarism, very indignant! The punishment must be unanimous and strong. To my sister Giorgia and my niece, hugs and protection."

Galeazzo Bignami, president of the Fratelli d'Italia deputies, also expressed his indignation: "The level of hatred towards Giorgia Meloni and her young daughter is unacceptable. Solidarity is no longer enough: Now we need an exemplary response," he said.

Even the president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, says: "Expressing hatred towards a little girl is something unacceptable that offends conscience and can find no excuse, not even in the hottest political disagreement." The Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, calls for "vigilance and censorship from the entire institutional body and the parliamentary spectrum": "Threats on social media against Giorgia Meloni's family are an act of barbarism, a filthy and miserable attack on a child."

Simona Malpezzi, senator of the Democratic Party, does not spare words: "It is unbelievable how far political hatred can go. Involving a child to attack her mother is intolerable." Even Pierferdinando Casini says: "Solidarity with Giorgia Meloni for the expressions used against little Ginevra on social media should not be news in a normal country. But, since sometimes politics borders on the lack of civilization, I want to express my most cordial closeness."

Anna Ascani (DP), vice president of the Chamber commented: "Unacceptable and disgusting threats. Full solidarity with Giorgia Meloni and Matteo Pianantedosi". Meanwhile, Michaela Biancofiore, group leader in the Senate of Citizens of Italy, NM, UDC, MAIE, adds: "Disgusting words that should never be thought of and that give an idea of the climate of hatred we are experiencing."
