A serious incident occurred this Friday in Korschenbroich, Germany.

As Bild writes, a small plane crashed into a house, killing two people, including the 71-year-old pilot.

According to preliminary data, the pilot had reported engine problems during the flight and it wasn't long before the plane crashed onto the terrace of a house, leaving it destroyed.

A neighbor describes the dramatic moment this way:

"A very loud explosion was heard and I immediately saw smoke covering the apartment. We ran to the house to help. My neighbor had seen the plane crash and managed to get out of the house, while his wife died."

However, it has not yet been officially confirmed whether the second victim is a resident of the house.

German police are expected to issue a full statement on the tragedy.
