A horror event was recorded on Wednesday evening in Zagreb, Croatia.

According to local media reports, 41-year-old Goran Knezhević attacked his ex-wife and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter with an ax.

Unfortunately, the little girl could not survive her injuries and died in the hospital, while the woman was able to survive.

After committing the macabre act, the 41-year-old quickly left to escape the police. During the pursuit by the special forces, he was fatally hit by a truck.

The author, Goran Knezhević, is a well-known character to the police, having been in prison for robbery. In 2009, he was part of a five-member group that robbed two post offices and five vending machines in Croatia.
