Giulia Donato was the name of the 23-year-old girl who was shot dead by her boyfriend, Andrea Corvaia. After taking the young woman's life, the 32-year-old then turned the gun on himself and killed himself.

According to the data that was collected by the investigators, the two young men had a romantic relationship that started last spring, but it did not go well, having constant disagreements that became more and more frequent in recent weeks. This afternoon they had another argument.

The last quarrel, that of this afternoon, had the most tragic and unjust epilogue; Giulia was gunned down in her bedroom, possibly while she was sleeping, where her boyfriend took her own life with a shot to the mouth.

Giulia, born in March 1999, shared the start of her relationship with Andrea on social media last May.

"We had never heard of problems related to the family or the couple. The girl was very kind, she knew my daughter and sometimes came to the store. It's a great tragedy," says Mauro Filippone, the owner of a tattoo shop located near number 22 via Anfossi.

The boyfriend who took her life was a security guard and took her life with his service pistol. It was the 31-year-old's sister who went to her sister-in-law's house, since there was no news from her brother, and found the two corpses.
