At least three missiles hit the dry dock, where the ship and submarine had been taken out for maintenance, while a third missile is believed to have hit the port building, causing extensive damage.

The attack happened at night two days ago, immediately after the Ukrainian special forces had managed to take control of an oil tanker in the Black Sea. The destroyed ship is of the "Ropucha" type, mainly used to transport soldiers, while the "Kilo" class submarine is capable of carrying nuclear missiles.
