Israel has denied reports that it has recalled ambassadors and evacuated its embassies in multiple countries around the world, Israeli media reported Thursday.

Also, earlier it was reported that some ambassadors were asked not to go to public events.

According to initial reports, this decision was made in agreement between the Foreign Ministry and Israel's Shin Bet.

The reports come amid fears of Iranian retaliatory strikes.

These reports come after an Israeli strike in Syria killed a senior member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Reza Zahedi.

According to Israeli media, diplomats serving abroad have expressed their concern that their embassies will be the target of Iranian retaliation. / JPost
