On April 4, the Agency for the Administration of Seized or Confiscated Assets confiscated two immovable properties in North Mitrovica and one in the municipality of Zubin Potok, which are linked to the attack by an armed group of Serbs on the Kosovo police in Banjska September of last year.

The news was confirmed to Radio Free Europe by Veton Elshani, deputy police director for the northern region. He said that the police helped this agency, which operates within the Ministry of Justice of Kosovo.

"There was a court order for the confiscation of three properties, Millan Radoicic's villa, the Gray restaurant and an apartment on the sixth floor above the Gray restaurant," said Elshani.

The villa is located by Lake Ujman in the municipality of Zubin Potok in the north of Kosovo, while the restaurant and the apartment are located in North Mitrovica - this municipality is inhabited by a majority of Serbs. These three immovable properties were initially seized by the Kosovo Prosecutor's Office in September last year.

Millan Radoicic, the former vice president of Lista Serbe - the main party of Serbs in Kosovo - has admitted that he organized and led the attack on the Kosovo police on September 24, where one policeman was killed, while three attackers were killed during the exchange of fire. . Kosovo has accused Serbia of being behind the attack in Banjska, but Belgrade has said it had no hand in it.

Lista Serbe, the party that enjoys the support of Belgrade, declared that the confiscation of Milan Radoic's property is illegal and unfounded and that it aims to "escalate" and "remove Serbs from Kosovo".

This is the first reaction of the Serbian List to the events related to Millan Radoicic after the attack in Banjska.

The Minister of Justice of Kosovo, Albuljena Haxhiu, previously stated that she joins the calls of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Aljbin Kurti, that the case should be handled urgently by the competent institutions of Banjska.

In Kosovo, no indictment has yet been filed against Radoicic, although it has been warned that it will be filed by the end of March this year.

In December last year, the International Police Agency (INTERPOL) issued an arrest warrant for Radoicic at the request of Kosovo, which was sent to him through the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).

It is assumed that Radoicic is in Serbia. Radoicic appeared before the High Court in Belgrade in October of last year, but the court rejected the proposal of the High Public Prosecution to determine the measure of detention. He has been imposed a ban on leaving the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as a ban on going to Kosovo.

The international community has called several times for those responsible for the attack in Banjska to face justice./REL
