French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has warned international leaders that the war in Ukraine will continue and must be prepared.

In a statement to the media the minister said that leaders must now prepare for a long-term war, which will bring severe consequences worldwide.

"I would also like to emphasize that we now need to take action on a conflict that will last, with consequences that will be felt internationally and especially in the area of ​​food security," he said.

He also said that international talks should focus on rising food prices as organizations have warned of a global food crisis due to the war in Ukraine.
