A kilogram of cocaine, hundreds of thousands of euros hidden in an Audi, a front company for suspected illegal trafficking from Eastern Europe, and a Moldovan influencer and presenter whose name surprisingly appears in the files of an investigation that, in recent days, led to the execution of two preliminary prison sentences by Italian authorities.
"Corriere" points out that the girl in question, Felicia Sirbu, from Moldova, is not listed among those under investigation in the court order.
However, suspicious connections have emerged in the private life of the 34-year-old, who on Instagram presents herself as an "influencer and television journalist with more than 13 years of experience."
A familiar face on Moldovan television, she has been interviewed by local media and even featured in gossip articles revealing aspects of her love life and her decision to move to Milan.
Her profile is filled with advertising a luxurious life, with expensive clothing and jewelry, travel, and parties.
The investigation by the carabinieri of the Sesto San Giovanni branch began with the discovery, in August 2023, of one kilogram of cocaine in a van checked in Vimodrone.
On that occasion, 47-year-old Romanian Andrei Radu Tataru was arrested. Subsequent investigations, conducted through telephone intercepts and analysis of vehicle movements, led to a garage in Via della Burrona, where 279,000 euros in cash were discovered inside a luxury Audi A6.
According to investigators, the money comes from drug trafficking. The focus of the investigators has also been extended to at least seven other individuals. But, faced with a series of requests for precautionary measures from the Monza prosecutor's office, the court issued restrictive measures only against two individuals for suspected criminal offenses of drug trafficking – 47-year-old Romanian Cristinel Balint and 28-year-old Ukrainian citizen Ivan Buzduhan, not finding that the other suspects needed precautionary measures.
Balint is the man who, according to documents, met Felicia Sirbu in November 2023. At the time, the young woman lived in Nova Milanese, just outside Monza.
According to the carabinieri, at least at the time of the wiretapping, she was in a romantic relationship with Vladimir Tataroi, known as "Vova", a man who is not among those for whom precautionary measures were requested.
Balint expressed his concerns to the 34-year-old because he was aware that she was under the surveillance of investigators. The two consumed a dose of cocaine together and discussed a fictitious job so that she could regularize her tax situation and thus have money to spend, with a monthly salary of just over a thousand euros.
The company in question was Alpha Group, which was the owner of the Audi in which 279,000 euros were found.
