A letter containing an envelope with three bullets has arrived at the address of Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. The envelope was delivered to the Serbian government on Thursday, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a day later that police had identified and located the person who sent the package.
"During the regular mail delivery at the Government of the Republic of Serbia building on August 28, 2025, an envelope addressed to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić was noticed. During a security scan of the package using an X-ray device, three bullets were found inside the envelope ," the MUP said.
They added that it was determined that the package was sent by mail on August 26, 2025, to a branch of the Serbian Post in Požarevac, and that police have identified and located the sender.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also reacted to the case, saying today that Dačić informed him that he had received a package containing three bullets.
"The police work with wonderful people who fight for this country. Ivica told me about those three bullets, it's part of the usual work, I hope they will be able to determine who he thinks is very smart," the president answered a journalist's question today, during a visit to the Vasiljević family in Rakovica.
