Two strong earthquakes were felt just a few minutes ago in the states of New Jersey and Maine in the USA.

As reported, tremors were felt in New York and surrounding areas, causing panic among residents.

The first earthquake was registered at 14:23 in New Jersey, with a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

If the second earthquake occurred just a few moments later, around 14:24, with an epicenter in Maine, with a magnitude of 5.1 and at a depth of 10 km.

There are no preliminary reports of damage, while earthquakes are unusual and mostly of a small magnitude in the eastern part of the US.
