The Albanian deputy in the Parliament of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, has accused the Serbian state institutions of interfering in the local elections in Preševo and Bujanoc, which will be held on Sunday, June 2.
In a post on Facebook, Kamberi said that from their sub-branches in the field they are receiving disturbing information "about the intervention of representatives of state bodies in the will of citizens on the eve of the June 2 elections".
"I invite the heads of state bodies to advise their employees to stay away from 'recommendations', 'advice', 'suggestions' about which list and which candidate they should vote for on Sunday, June 2", wrote Kamberi on Facebook.
He asked the Serbian institutions not to use these methods "because they do not work for you", telling them to keep their hands away from the Albanian vote.
"Control yourself and refrain from interfering in the electoral process, this is your legal duty, do not try to control the electorate", continued Kamberi.
