Shkodran Tolaj, the former Director of the Albanian State Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances in North Macedonia, has denounced the removal of the Albanian language from street signs.
It is about the signs in Bllacë, on the border with Kosovo.
Tolaj writes on social networks that this action reminds us of the mass deportation of Kosovars by the Serbs towards Bllace, only "Severna" was missing at that time!
"DON'T REMINDER US THE BLACA OF 1999
In Bllacë, on the border with Kosovo, new inscriptions in Macedonian, English and French. In Albanian NO. We returned to the difficult years when our fathers did not dare to speak Albanian at school!
You are reminding us of the mass deportation of Kosovars by the Serbs towards Bllace, only "Severna" was missing at that time!
The change came only for the black Albanians! Put your hands up when you don't have heels and protect the national identity!", writes Shkodran Tolaj.
