The US Department of State declared that it supports the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, for a final agreement that can be reached "in the coming days".

In an address to the media, the spokesman of the Department, Ned Price, said that the United States of America has been consistent and supportive of the two countries. He added that they also support the European Union as a mediator in the dialogue.

"We fully support the dialogue mediated by the EU. This is why the US envoy, Gabriel Escobar, was in Pristina and Belgrade to support this process. As you know, the Secretary himself has been deeply engaged in this. He spoke with Serbian President Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti at the beginning of this month, on October 11," said Price, emphasizing that the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, has asked for continuous and constructive engagement to ensure peace and stability in the region. The representative of Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola Von Cramon, spoke on Monday about the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
