Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that there is a risk that Ukraine will use the "dirty bomb" (a bomb with radioactive content).
In a statement to reporters in Moscow, Peskov spoke about the US, France and Britain rejecting the claim that Ukraine is preparing to use the "dirty bomb" on its territory.
"Distrust of the information conveyed by Russia does not eliminate the risk of using the dirty bomb. Such a threat exists and this information was conveyed by the Minister of Defense to his counterparts. It's up to them to believe or not," said Peskov, who added that Russia has forwarded its claims to the relevant parties.
The Russian Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoygu, in the telephone conversations held yesterday with his counterparts from Turkey, the USA, France and Britain, said that "Ukraine is making preparations to use a 'dirty bomb'".
The foreign ministers of the US, Britain and France in a joint statement after the talks, rejected Russia's claims and announced that they will not accept excuses that will be used to increase tensions.
