Blinken arrives in Israel, meeting with Netanyahu is expected

As predicted, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has arrived in Israel. He is expected to hold discussions with the Israeli government regarding the aggression that has started since the beginning of October between this state and Hamas.

This is Blinken's second visit to Israel after Hamas attacked southern Israeli cities on October 7. He traveled to Israel three times and to six Arab countries during that visit.

Meanwhile, Blinken will also visit Jordan. The latter announced on Wednesday that it has withdrawn its ambassador to Israel and that it will not allow Israel's ambassador to Jordan to return to the country. She said she will not change these decisions until the conflict in Gaza is over.
