Armour and anti-ship systems, Britain reinforces Ukrainian military

Great Britain will send 120 armoured vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems to support Ukraine, Downing Street said after talks between Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kiev.

"It is because of the determined leadership of President (Volodymyr) Zelensky and the heroism and undefeated courage of the Ukrainian people that (Vladimir) Putin's monstrous intentions are being thwarted," Boris Johnson said after meeting Zelensky, according to a Downing Street statement.

Earlier, a spokesman said the prime minister travelled to Kiev to determine "a new financial and military aid package" of 650ml euros.
