Bill Clinton, the former President of the United States of America celebrates his 77th birthday today.

Bill Clinton (William Jefferson Clinton) was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas, USA. It has been more than 22 years since the 42nd president of the USA left the office of the head of state in the USA, but in the memory of our nation he remains the most important pro-Albanian personality and the one who has done more than anyone another for the Albanians.

On July 3, on the eve of US Independence Day (July 4), the former President visited Tirana where he was received with a special ceremony.

During it, he was awarded the "Star of Appreciation for Public Achievements", the highest award given by the Prime Minister's office.

Former President Clinton enjoys great popularity among Albanians, due to his support for Kosovo and leadership of the bombing campaign against Serbia.
