The elected Vetëvendosje MP, Albin Kurti, has resigned from the post of Prime Minister.

Kurti resigned a few hours before being sworn in as a member of the Kosovo Assembly.

He stated this in a letter addressed to the Secretariat of the Assembly of Kosovo.

Kurti has remained as Prime Minister of Kosovo to this day, while it is expected that the Speaker of the Assembly and perhaps the new government of Kosovo will also be voted on in today's session.
