The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, will hold a high-level meeting in Brussels this Monday, within the framework of the dialogue for the normalization of relations, with the mediation of the European envoy for the dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Initially, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, Josep Borrell, is expected to hold separate meetings with the leaders of the two countries. He is expected to meet with Kurti at 15:00 accompanied by Miroslav Lajçak and then at 16:15, he is expected to meet with the Serbian president.
After the separate meetings, at 17:15, a joint meeting with the leaders of the two countries is expected to be held. The European bloc considers the sixth meeting between the two leaders as the most important, because this time, there will not be discussions on crisis management, but on a new dynamic of relations.
Both sides are expected to reach agreement on the EU's proposal as a "base agreement" for the normalization of relations.
