Iran is intensively preparing its population for a possible war with the United States, while rapidly fortifying critical and nuclear facilities.

According to the Wall Street Journal, satellite images show the construction of strong defenses around the nuclear plants at Natanz and Pickaxe Mountain.

Aware of American air superiority, the Iranian military is focusing on training the population for ground warfare and air defense.

Civilians are being trained in Tehran to use weapons of various calibers.

Women are also included in the training, as are children, like this little girl in a headscarf who perfectly knows the entire process of disassembling and reassembling a Kalashnikov.

This mobilization comes amid fading hopes that negotiations will bring peace and fears of new American attacks after the midterm elections in November.

Moreover, military rhetoric is being used by the regime to curb potential popular revolts amid a deep economic collapse caused by international blockades and high pressure from Washington.
