Imagine you have 400 square meters of land, where you receive an offer to buy it for 125 euros per square meter and you reject it, not out of greed to earn more, but more out of the idea of inheriting the property you gave them. bequeathed?
This happened to BE, a resident of Bëxulla, who tells Voxnews.al that a little more than a year ago they knocked on his door to buy the land he has in front of the villa he built on the land of his ancestors.
"I turned it down because I never thought this day would come," he says.
He confesses that for 6 months he has been constantly receiving flyers for the release of the property, the signing of its compensation and other official letters sent by the Ministry of Infrastructure headed by Belinda Balluku and sometimes by the Gener 2 company, which has won the concession of the Thumanë- Kashar.
However, the price is far from the offer of 125 euros per square meter that he once received.
'Today they are expropriating me for 25 euros per meter. Vija has no house, but if the road passes where they say, then this house becomes uninhabitable', he adds.
BE, works in the state administration. He, like other residents of Bëxulla, says that he is not against the construction of the road, but he is against the robbery of his property.
"Let the road be built, the company is benefiting at our expense and moreover the government, Minister Balluku is on the company's side," he says.
