An explosive substance, suspected to be TNT, was found this Thursday morning near the outer door of a bar in Kamëz.

According to the police report, the object did not explode, and specialized engineering services intervened to safely remove it.

Meanwhile, according to the police, the bar is owned by citizen Klevis Hyka, 38 years old, while work is underway to clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.

Full police statement:

On 29.10.2026, at around 06:30, on "Berisha" street, in Kamëz, a suspected quantity of explosive material was found, placed near the door of a (local) entity, owned by citizen KH, 38 years old, which did not explode.

Specialized engineering services have made it possible to remove the suspected explosive material from the scene.

The investigation team is at the scene and is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances and legally document the case.
