VoxNews has written several times about the scandalous violations of this company that mocks Albanians. This company abruptly cancels flights, disrupting passenger plans. But it seems that this scandal continues in other countries where this company operates, so much so that it has become news from the BBC media network, which has dedicated some news to the delays that are happening with this company.

Families affected by the chaos at the airports have expressed "distrust" of the reasons for the cancellation of their flights (by Wizz Air) without notifying or being notified at the last minute. The Hunt family, from Beccles Suffolk, was supposed to fly to Larnaca in Cyprus with friends, but their flights were twice canceled by Wizz Air, writes the BBC adapted VoxNews .

The airline fired thousands of staff during the pandemic and has struggled to recruit, leading to staff absences and cancellations. Rachel Hunt said their first flight was canceled after they arrived at Gatwick Airport (London) after leaving their home at 2am on Wednesday, June 1st.

" We arrived at the airport and received a message at 08:30 saying that your flight had just been canceled, we were saying 'okay, now what to do ,'" she said.

"There was no one from the airline there… we felt completely alone. She managed to book another flight two days later. They also booked a hotel near Gatwick. "We reached the boarding gate and received another message (cancellation) just when we were ready to board the flight," she said.

"I was just in disbelief, I thought that once it is to be unlucky, but twice it is just ridiculous. I burst into tears. " She said she was "really disappointed" with Wizz Air.

"I'm really, really unhappy that no one has been in touch - we just had automated emails," Ms Hunt said.

Her husband, Sam, said that after talking to the border control she realized that “it was really obvious that these flights would not take place. Flights are sold and not performed. "It is clear that there is a compensation that needs to be made at some point, it seems like a strange business model."

The family had paid 800 800 for the flights, but think they are pa 1,000 taken out of pocket considering all their expenses.

Gillian Mansbridge, from Mattishall in Norfolk, managed to go to Cyprus with her family, a party of seven, including two babies, but could not return on Friday and had to stay four extra nights in a hotel on the Mediterranean island. .

“Pelenat kishin mbaruar të gjitha, qumështi i foshnjës kishte mbaruar, ilaçet e mia kishin mbaruar, vajza ime kishte mbaruar”, tha ajo.

In a statement, Wizz Air "sincerely apologized" to customers. The company added: " There is a widespread shortage of staff, particularly in air traffic control, ground operations and baggage handling, security and at airports ," the BBC quoted VoxNews as saying .
