The epidemic of high-rise buildings has now spread to the outskirts of Tirana, affecting even the few areas that had escaped high-rise construction.

The National Territorial Council has approved the construction permit for a residential complex called Albora's Lake, which envisages the construction of 17 high-rise towers near Lake Farka. The construction company is Lion Construction, owned by Bardhjus Bushaj and Erion Gina.

Capital was able to secure a model of the complex. As is clear from the photos, it is an industrial-scale environmental disaster, which massively concretes the area of Lake Farka.

This is probably one of the largest construction projects ever approved in Tirana, the size of which would be extraordinary even for cities with millions of inhabitants, several times larger than Tirana.

According to the building permit, the complex will have a mixed function with residential residences, hotels and services. Lion Construction is the company that built the famous Lion Residence building, at the entrance to the Artificial Lake park. Meanwhile, the company has received building permits for several high-rise towers in Tirana./kapitali.al
