Historian and researcher Auron Tare has raised concerns about the condition of the ruins of the house of renowned writer Mitrush Kuteli, denouncing through a Facebook reaction its abandonment and conversion into a garbage dump.
In addition to the sad images, Tare also brings a fragment from Kutel's farewell letter to his wife, with a strong message about love for the homeland and the Albanian language.

“The Ruins of Mitrush Kutel's House”
Prose writer, poet and folklorist, publicist, storyteller and literary critic, Kuteli left over 10 literary publications to Albanian culture and thought while still alive.
Albanians throw garbage on the foundations of his house. Just 20 meters from Lasgushi's garden, the house has collapsed and is left as a pile of garbage. The narrow alley that once connected the houses of the two men of letters has been closed off with walls and stones as if to separate those poets even after death.
Excerpt from "Farewell Letter to Wife"
"I advise the children to love our country and language even to the point of suffering. Let their hearts not be hardened against Albania, even when they suffer without fault. The homeland is the homeland, even when it kills you. They were born here, they live here with flesh and soul, even with pain."
