National Security Council

Speaking at the National Security Council, the acting head of SHISH, Elvis Lila, insisted that a top-secret audit conducted after the criminal measure against Vlora Hyseni did not result in any documents that jeopardize the country's national security being released from this institution.

Very reliable TCH sources present at the meeting quoted the head of SHISH and the president who, in this urgent meeting called, mentioned the obligation to collect and store security information as well as the necessity to cooperate with institutions.

And while those present at this meeting, where the speeches of each official are kept secret, further claimed that Chief Prosecutor Klodian Braho told the heads of the institutions mandated by law to be on the National Security Council, that SPAK concluded that a security measure should be sought in court against the director of the Albanian Intelligence Service after administering some secret evidence for the investigation, including some housebreaking.

After the investigation group secured the evidence and reached this decision, Mr. Klodian Braho is quoted as having explained on behalf of the two prosecutors.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Rama has emphasized, the same sources indicate, that responsibility is individual. Mechanisms for interaction must be found, the Prime Minister insisted, to preserve national security.

Meanwhile, the president, after leaving the duties of each institution, has made it clear that independence must be maintained and that there should be no interference in the work of the Special Prosecution Office. Special sources did not confirm that there were any debates in this meeting./TCH
