The 121st consecutive protest against the government began this Monday in Tirana, with citizens demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj, while speaking at the protest, mentioned today's Security Council meeting, saying that the government and the Presidency attempted to portray the scandal of the former head of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, as personal responsibility.

During her speech at the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Vatnikaj emphasized that the main person responsible for the scandals in the country is Prime Minister Edi Rama alone and that, in her opinion, he should resign for all reasons. She added that the protest continues for a new social contract.

"Today, when the country is boiling over the scandal where the head of SHISH was caught sending information to the man who commands gangs and organized crime in Albania. The President, the man who has remained silent throughout these days of protest, has convened the Security Council and tried to transform it into a personal event. But organized crime has had all the decision-making power, so today not only the President but no one else, could show us this scandal as personal responsibility.
