The distribution of the year-end bonus for pensioners begins

The distribution of the year-end bonus for pensioners has started today. The Minister of Economy, Blendi Gonxhja, announced that until 10:00, 19,566 bonuses were distributed.

"Of which: 13,712 bonuses of 15,000 Lek for pensions under 20,000 Lek, invalids and family pensions; 5,854 bonuses of 10,000 Lek for pensions over 20,000 Lek", announced Gonxhja.

Gonxhja appeals to pensioners that the bonus can be withdrawn at any point of the Albanian Post or second-level banks until June 30, 2025.

The government approved the bonus at the end of November. Beneficiaries will be about 724 thousand pensioners.

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the fund of 100 million euros for pensioners during the parliamentary session where the budget was discussed.

All pensioners who have a pension of up to 20,000 Lek, will receive three times the previous bonus, 15,000 Lek (150 Euro). While pensioners who have a pension greater than 20 thousand Lek will receive double the bonus of the previous two years, in the amount of 10 thousand Lek (100 Euro
