The government has today approved the year-end bonus for retirees.

The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja revealed other details of this bonus, which he called the largest ever in history, and when the distribution will be made.

Gonxja: Proud that today we approved the year-end bonus, the biggest ever, for all 724 thousand 933 pensioners, where 511 thousand 173 pensioners with a pension of 20 thousand ALL will receive a bonus of 150 euros and 213 thousand 760 pensioners with pensions over 20,000 lek benefit from the 100 euro bonus.

Disabled pensioners, widowed men and women, orphaned children, regardless of how much pension they receive, will have the full bonus of 15,000 ALL.

A category for the early retirement of military personnel is also included. For the 5174 pensioners of the disabled in the village, the annual pension was increased by 14.5%. For the 2300 family pensions in the village, this bonus has the effect of increasing the annual pension by 66.3%. The effect of the 100 million euro end-of-year bonus fund increases by 9% on average a pension of 15 thousand ALL for the whole year 2024.

The distribution of the bonus in the spring is the largest ever in the country's history. Payments will start from the second week of December, for all pensioners.
