Telecommunications leader One Albania is part of the 59th edition of ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism fair, as an official partner of the "Albania All Senses" initiative. This year, Albania is the official host country at the fair, showcasing its rich cultural heritage, agritourism, cuisine, traditional drinks, clothing tradition and music as part of the year-round tourism offer.
For travelers, staying connected is as important as discovering new destinations or trying delicious food. From exploring mountain roads with GPS to surfing the web and sharing experiences in real time, technology plays an essential role in every trip.
As a result, One Albania has become a key partner in supporting tourism. One Albania’s presence at ITB Berlin 2025 is a key element in offering a tourism experience that seamlessly integrates technology and innovation, positioning Albania not only as a booming tourism destination, but also as a hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans.
Strategic partnership ensuring an improved tourism experience
Last year, One Albania signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Tourism for the “Albania All Senses” initiative, ensuring, among other things, that visitors enjoy uninterrupted communication throughout the territory. This partnership aims to promote Albania’s cultural wealth and tourism potential, by offering exclusive packages and services to all visitors.
Present during the ITB Berlin 2025 fair, the Director of the Consumer Commercial Group, Athanasios Paraskevas, emphasized that One Albania remains committed to guaranteeing an uninterrupted connection for travelers visiting our country.
"Tourists rely on fast roaming internet and strong mobile network coverage to share experiences and stay connected with their loved ones. One Albania offers the fastest and largest network coverage in Albania, allowing travelers to stay connected—whether in the capital, but also along the entire Albanian Riviera and up to the highest mountain peaks."
During his presentation at the panel on the topic: “Albania - The growing tourism gateway of Southeast Europe”, Mr. Paraskevas added:
“Our 5G mobile network and fiber infrastructure ensure that travelers enjoy high-speed internet and smooth web browsing.
At One Albania we don’t just build networks, we create opportunities for growth. We support local tourism and related businesses to have reliable connections from our fixed or mobile networks. Our vision is to strengthen the image of digital Albania with investments in 5G and fiber infrastructure, providing world-class connectivity to enhance the travel experience.”
The ITB Berlin trade fair provides an excellent platform to explore new opportunities for cooperation with international companies. As one of the largest foreign investors in Albania, 4iG, the parent company of One Albania, has a long-term commitment to positioning the country as a leading destination for travelers seeking unforgettable experiences.
