Spring bonus distribution begins, 730 thousand pensioners benefit

The distribution of the spring bonus for pensioners has started this Monday. In total, there are 730,400 senior citizens, both inside and outside the country, who can withdraw the money at the Albanian Post Office counters or at commercial banks.

According to the decision, this reward will be 5,000 lek for pensions higher than 20,000 lek and 10,000 lek for pensions below 20,000 lek.

In figures, there are 520 thousand elderly people who will receive 10 thousand lek each and the remaining 210 thousand will receive half of this amount. The financial effects resulting from the implementation of this decision are estimated at approximately 6.3 billion lek.

The government has promised to make this reward a tradition, as it did during the year-end holidays, for which the money is sanctioned by law.
