Over 77,000 employees will benefit from salary increases during 2024. The revised medium-term budget program document 2024-2026 has been published in the Official Gazette and details the priorities for the next 3 years. According to the document, during the mid-term cycle 2024-2026, the continuation of the provision of services to citizens in education, health, transport, agriculture, etc. with standards and quality is foreseen, as well as the financing of some new policies launched during the year 2023.

Specifically, it is intended to finance the new salary increase policy mainly in priority sectors such as health, education, security, defense.

For the year 2023-2024, about 36,000 educational employees of the Pre-University Education System are expected to benefit from the revision of the salary increase policy, where for the year 2024 a salary increase of 23-36% of the gross salary is expected; About 18,858 employees of the Health System, where during two years the average increase for doctors and nurses will be realized, ranging from 26-34% of the gross salary; About 22,500 Grada system employees are projected to benefit from an average 30% pay increase per rank for 2024.
